The chalet is located above the village of Rasura at about 900m above sea level and can be reached all year round via a 250m footpath, the first 150m of which has gentle steps and the last 100m or so is a steeper path.
Rasura is the most populated village in Valgerola. The village has a grocery shop, bar, town hall and post office, and is 8 km from Morbegno.The kitchen has a gas cylinder, hot water is provided by an electric boiler and heating is provided by a pellet stove.
